Four daughters, four weddings, one year

The year has gotten off to a busy start for Jeff and Cheryl Whitaker of
Edgewater and their combined family.

With one wedding already under their belt in 2009,
there still are three more bridal showers to schedule, three more rehearsal
dinners to attend, and three more weddings to organize — all in 2009.
“At the end of this year, all the weddings will be done,” Mrs. Whitaker said.
“I think it’s going to be nonstop from here.”
When the Whitakers started dating eight years ago, they joked about their
combined four daughters — and how they were so close in age.
“We joked about saving for the weddings,” Mrs. Whitaker said. |
